What we collect, and what we do with it.
This website asks for very little and does very little with it. This policy says exactly what, in plain language, based on how the site actually works.

Who this covers
Need Yah Mate is operated by Memon Danyal Jamshed, a sole trader (ABN 23 918 408 331). This policy refers to the business as the studio, we or us. It covers this website, needyahmate.com.au, and explains what information the website collects, why, where it goes, and how to ask us about it.
It does not cover systems we build for clients. Those are governed by the agreement for that work, and by the client's own privacy arrangements.
What we collect
The website has one form: the contact form. Everything else on the site can be read and used without giving us any information.
If you send an enquiry, we collect what you type into the form:
Your name and business name
Your email address, and a phone number if you choose to give one
Your current website address, if you choose to give one
What you are trying to improve, and how and when you would prefer to be contacted
Your confirmation that you understand how the enquiry will be handled
The System Blueprint
The System Blueprint is built from options you select in the configurator. It applies fixed, deterministic rules to those selections. No AI model is involved, nothing is predicted, and the result is planning guidance rather than a quote, a technical assessment or advice.
Your selections are recorded as short option identifiers, such as the identifier for "a form on your website". There is no free-text field in the configurator, so nothing you would describe as personal information can enter a blueprint.
A shareable blueprint link contains those option identifiers and nothing else. If you send a blueprint with an enquiry, the studio receives the same identifiers and the guidance rebuilt from them on our server; the wording is never taken from the address bar.
Abuse prevention
When the contact form is submitted, our server briefly counts requests from the connection address it came from, so that a stuck script or a flood of submissions is slowed down. That address is held in the server's memory for a few minutes at most. It is not stored, not attached to your enquiry, and not sent to anyone.
How we use enquiries
We use what you send to reply to you, to understand what you are trying to improve, and to arrange a conversation if you want one. That is the only purpose.
We do not sell personal information. We do not add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry, and there is no newsletter. If you later agree to something more, that will be a separate and explicit request.
Who handles it
Your enquiry is delivered by email, which means it passes through service providers. We use the following, and we do not pass your information to anyone else:
- Resend
Delivers contact-form enquiries to the studio as email.
ReceivesThe enquiry you submit, including the System Blueprint text rebuilt from your selected options.
WhereResend states that it stores account and email log data in the United States, and that it retains email data for a limited period which it publishes. Your enquiry is therefore processed outside Australia while it is delivered.
- Microsoft 365
The studio mailbox where enquiries are received and kept.
ReceivesThe delivered enquiry email.
WhereMicrosoft may process mailbox data in data centres outside Australia depending on the service configuration.
- Calendly
Handles bookings for the free conversation, on Calendly's own website.
ReceivesWhatever you enter on Calendly's booking page, and the time you choose. This website passes nothing to Calendly.
WhereCalendly is a United States company and processes booking information under its own privacy policy.
Processing outside Australia
Some of the providers above process information outside Australia; Resend publishes that it stores email data in the United States, and Calendly is a United States company. Where that happens, the provider's own published terms and privacy policy apply to its handling of the information.
We do not make any claim here about how Australian privacy law characterises that processing. We tell you where information goes so that you can decide what to send.
Security
We keep the website's handling of your information proportionate to what it is: a contact form. Enquiries travel over encrypted connections, are not stored in a website database, and the addresses they are delivered to are decided on our server rather than by anything in the request. Credentials for our providers are kept on the server and never sent to your browser.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim that ours is. We aim to be careful and honest about what we do.
How long we keep it
The website itself keeps nothing: an enquiry passes through it and is delivered. The delivered email is kept in the studio mailbox while the enquiry is current and for our own records of the conversation. We do not set a fixed period here that we cannot stand behind. You can ask us to delete an enquiry at any time; we will action the request where we are not required to retain the information, and tell you if we are.
Our providers keep their own logs and copies for the periods they publish.
Access, correction and deletion
To see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask for it to be deleted, email hello@needyahmate.com.au. We will confirm what we have and respond within a reasonable time. Correction and deletion are actioned where we are not required to retain the information. There is no charge.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your information badly, tell us first at hello@needyahmate.com.au and we will look into it and reply. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), which handles privacy complaints in Australia.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new effective date. The dates at the top of the page say which version you are reading and when it was last reviewed against the way the website actually works.
